Professor Sanoj Rajan, a Distinguished Professor of Law at the Law School was invited to judge the Final Round of the Eighth Symbiosis Law School, Pune, India International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition, 2023 (SICTA) on 23rd April 2023. It was a remarkable experience to witness the skills and talents of the participants, who argued on a complex and challenging case before the International Criminal Court. He was also privileged to share the judging panel with distinguished experts in international law and justice, such as Dr. Navi Pillay, Judge Ad Hoc of the ICJ and former Judge of the ICC; Mr. Pubudu Sachitanandan, Trial Lawyer for the ICC; Dr. Aniruddha Rajput, Member of the UN International Law Commission; and Dr. Rama Joga Rao Kasibhatla, Additional Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Law & Justice of India.
